Dr. Brian Kim uses advanced techniques called Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) and Concentrated Growth Factors (CGF) to enhance healing after dental surgeries. Before the procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient’s vein and placed into sterile test tubes. These tubes are then centrifuged for about 12 minutes, which separates the blood into individual components: PRF/CGF and a thin, jelly-like layer known as a biomembrane.

The biomembranes are carefully collected and placed in a sterile container. At the end of surgery, Dr. Kim applies several layers of biomembranes over the surgical site before gently closing and stitching the soft tissue. These natural membranes act as a protective barrier, reducing the risk of infection, while also releasing growth factors that stimulate the body’s own healing process.

Because PRF/CGF is derived entirely from your own blood, it is 100% natural, biocompatible, and safe, eliminating the risk of allergic reactions or rejection. Rich in enzymes and growth factors, PRF/CGF accelerates wound healing, bone and soft-tissue regeneration, and new blood vessel formation—leading to faster recovery, reduced swelling, and less post-operative discomfort.

PRF/CGF is widely trusted in regenerative dentistry and is used at Brian Dental Care for dental implants, bone grafts, sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, soft-tissue grafting, and tooth extractions—including wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Kim’s expertise and precision ensure that every procedure is performed with skill, care, and attention to your comfort.

At Brian Dental Care, your well-being and smooth recovery are our top priorities.
